What the E29 code means on a Balay washing machine

The washing machine needs a minimum flow rate to fill the drum and calculate each cycle phase correctly. When that flow does not arrive in time, the system interprets it as an inlet water problem and stops the wash. Therefore, the first place to check is outside the appliance, not the motor or electronic board.

The cause may be as simple as a temporary water interruption or a partly closed valve. It is also important to observe the water pressure. A tap that produces only a thin stream can trigger the same warning as a blocked hose.
