Balay 3SC7010EE full tank error: how to fix it
The float, pump or a blockage may trigger the warning even when the tank is empty.

The Balay 3SC7010EE dryer may display a full tank warning even when the container has no water. In this model, the problem is often found in the tank float or buoy, a component that detects the level and can become blocked by lint, detergent residue or accumulated dirt. Before taking the appliance apart, it is worth ruling out the simplest external causes.
If you have a problem with your dryer, you can use our free error code finder. From there you can identify and solve all errors easily and effectively.
Why the warning appears with an empty tank
The removable container is not always where the signal originates. During drying, condensed water reaches a small lower reservoir and a condensate pump moves it to the removable tank. If the float becomes stuck or the pump cannot move the water, the system interprets the level as having reached its limit.
The first check should be made with the dryer switched off and unplugged. Empty the tank, clean it with warm water and check that it has no cracks or residue preventing it from seating properly. It is also important to clean the lint filter and make sure it is correctly fitted, because a buildup of fibers affects airflow and can increase condensation.
Then inspect the hose or channel carrying water to the tank. A partial blockage can leave water trapped in the circuit and make the indicator return a few minutes after emptying it. Do not insert metal objects or use harsh products: the ducts and seals can be damaged easily.
Cleaning the float and carrying out safe checks
If the warning remains, the most likely cause is dirt around the internal float. On some appliances, access is possible by removing the top cover, but the screw layout and internal arrangement vary by version. The drum belt, wiring and capacitors may be close to this area, so taking off the casing without experience is not advisable.
When access is straightforward and the appliance manual allows it, cleaning should be done with the machine unplugged, cold and stable. Remove visible fibers with a damp cloth, move the float gently to check that it rises and falls freely, and dry the area before closing it. The condensate pump should also be free of lint, but its impeller must not be forced and its wires should not be pulled.
After reassembly, fit the tank fully, reconnect the dryer and select a short program with a small load. If the message disappears, the cause was probably a blockage or an incorrect level reading. If it returns with an empty tank, there may be a fault in the pump, sensor, wiring or electronic board, making further home testing inadvisable.
Regular maintenance greatly reduces these incidents. Clean the filter after every cycle, wash the container when you notice residue and periodically check the air inlets. Do not exceed the stated load or put soaking-wet clothes inside: insufficient spinning creates more water and places extra demand on the condensation system. A persistent warning should not be ignored, because trapped water can eventually cause leaks or electrical damage.
A small warning that can reveal a larger problem
On the Balay 3SC7010EE, the full tank message does not by itself confirm that the removable container is full. It may be the visible result of a blocked mechanical reading or an obstructed drainage circuit. Checking the tank, filters and fit is reasonable; dismantling areas near the motor or belt requires greater caution.
If the warning returns after cleaning, the dryer stops or you notice a burning smell, unplug it and arrange a professional inspection. An accurate diagnosis prevents unnecessary part replacements and determines whether cleaning the pump is enough or the detection assembly must be replaced.
