The E38 error shows how modern appliances depend on invisible signals to perform visible work. A washing machine may appear mechanically healthy, with a functioning motor, pump, and display, but still be unable to continue because one internal reference is missing.
The warning is therefore not just a decorative code. It is a control message designed to prevent overfilling, insufficient water, incorrect draining, confused phase changes, and unnecessary stress on the hydraulic and electronic systems.
The correct response is not to rush or replace parts at random. It speaks of internal communication. When communication fails, the smartest repair is the one that restores the dialogue between water, air, and electronics without adding noise or unnecessary replacement costs to the system.
