Description: Problem in the overflow detection circuit. In many Electrolux washers this is caused by a faulty or blocked overflow pressure switch or its associated tubing; it can also be caused by blockages in drain paths or faults in the electronic control.

   Verify inlet valves, hoses and door seals for leaks. Excessive suds or overfilling can also cause overflow alarms; confirm correct detergent type and load size.

6. Replace faulty parts if necessary:

   If cleaning and reconnection do not clear the error, replace the pressure switch, damaged tubes, pump or control board as diagnosed. Use genuine or compatible parts and follow manufacturer instructions.

7. Test the machine:

   After repairs, reconnect power and water and run a diagnostics cycle or a short wash to confirm the E39 error no longer appears.
