How to eliminate F24 error in Whirlpool dryer?

• Error: F24
• Description: Input thermistor failure – a fan defect was detected in heat pump dryer models.
• Cause: 
• Solution: The control fan is not blocked or obstructed by fluff or fluff verify the main control unit for the fan wiring See fan if everything looks good but the fan does not work yet, replace the fan unit – the control detects a thermistor of Electrically open input (temperature sensor). Unplug the dryer and verify the resistance of that thermistor, which must be approximately 50,000 ohms. If the input thermistor is defective, replace it. Note: The input thermistor is combined with the high limit thermostat in this dryer.
